Morph—explained.
The Story Behind the Name
Like so many times of my life, I found myself gazing out of an airplane window. But this time was different. One month before, I had packed up my belongings and left any sense of security behind. No car. No lease. No city I called home. It felt wild, like I was rewriting my story. It felt transformative.
It felt like… the start of a metamorphosis.
And there it was, landing in my brain like it belonged there. Rolling off of my tongue like it had existed all along.
Morph.
(the Copy House part came later – we’ll get to that!)
Not only did it wrap up my journey into one word – my degree in environmental biology, my big scary leap into the online space, the joy as I discovered the transformation my words could bring others, my growth as I chose to live life the way I wanted, and the change that ensued because of it.
But it so powerfully described my mission as a copywriter, too.
The ability to take your story, be unapologetic in your evolution, and use that power to connect with others – that’s what Morph is about.
In a moment I knew it was mine. It was a space my clients could come to when they needed their vision safely put into words. It was a home I could fold up and take with me, no matter where I went. A home? I liked that…
And then Morph began its own evolution. From this meaningful idea into a full fledged brand concept – Morph Copy House came to life.
